We ALL have been anxiously anticipating the arrival of Princess Tiana, Disney's first Black Princess. The day finally arrived! For family home evening yesterday, we went to go see the "Princess and The Frog!" Evie was surprised with a special T shirt for the movie along with Princess Tiana fruit snacks! She was SO excited! The movie was fantastic! Everyone enjoyed it, especially Evie, who sat intently and watched every second-without a peep! I am just overjoyed that Disney has a black princess that my daughter can look up to and relate to! How special that we are a part of history. The movies main theme was working hard to achieve your hearts desires and learning/understanding the difference between what you need and what you want. It is certainly a movie to add to your Disney collection. Bound to be a classic!
